Drone Swarms Over Heartland Scaring Residents

ALERT SUMMARY

Most major news outlets including ABC and CBS News have recently reported that large swarms of drones are scaring residents in a tri-state area including Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas.

The swarms have been spotted flying in strange formations which has further added to the mystery. Some residents reported drones with wingspans as large as 6 feet across and with multiple flashing colors. Other residents reported the swarms doing circular patterns and circling the city.

The local authorities have been inundated with over 30 reports since mid December. The local Sheriffs department has even setup a task force due to the overwhelming calls from local residents who are concerned about potential invasions of privacy or government spying. So far, the task force has not found either the source or the intent of the drone swarms. The investigation is ongoing.

The state of Colorado has even taken the extreme step to launch a special surveillance plane known as an MMA to try find the source and capture images of the drones. Then planes have sensitive equipment such as high definition cameras and special detectors that can peer through smoke. The plane flew a special spaghetti like pattern to maximize chances of encounters. The Colorado Department of Public Safety issued a statement that so far, no suspicious heat signatures or drones were observed during their flight.
