The Scary and Silent Apple Device Hack

NBC News recently reported that a serious and silent hack was discovered on Apple iPhones. Apple notified device owners of the hack after researchers discovered that a spyware company had found a way to take control of any Apple device - iPhone, computer or watch. This is done without the device owner even clicking on the message. This "zero-click" exploit makes it particularly dangerous, because you don't have to click on anything and it compromises your device silently.

How does it work? The malicious software hack can enter through an iMessage then takes advantage of a flaw in how Apple processes images. The scary part is that phones exploited with this hack didn't even realize they were hacked. It's as simple as receiving a GIF image from someone and that's it, you can be hacked!
