How Hackers Can Steal Your Regular Mail

ALERT SUMMARY

The United States Post Office has a new online service called "Informed Delivery" that sends you an email with images of your daily mail. To get this service, you need to "register" for it by answering question about past home addresses and sale price of your home. Hacker could register for the service using their own email address. Then they can keep track of all the mail and packages you are receiving then physically steal your mail. Another potential is a collection of people and businesses who send you mail in preparation to steal your identity or sell the information.
